Compliance with the Code of Conduct and the protection of human rights are two pillars of the CSR strategy of the OHL Group.

The main objective of the Group is to be in a position to guarantee due diligence with respect to human rights compliance in all of the environments in which OHL operates and with all of the stakeholders involved in its activity.

In this sense, thee OHL Group incorporates in its management strategy the United Nations guidelines on Human Rights and Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Group has been a Member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2004 and is a founding member of its Spanish Network. Since then, it has been active in the promotion and dissemination of the Compact’s 10 principles and reports on the progress made through the CSR anual reports.

Principles on Business and Human Rights, approved in 2011, which establish the responsibility of companies in respecting Human Rights.

In addition, OHL takes up the challenge of the Sustainable Development Goals which expressly recognize the indispensable role of the business sector for addressing these goals in the performance of business activities. Through the CSR Strategic Plan 2015-2020, and its human rights action line, it contributes to SDG 1, 8, 10 and 16.
