The OHL Group promotes the use of management mechanisms and systems, in accordance with international standards, in order to improve performance, provide guarantees and facilitate communication with customers.

The main standards used are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001. According to the characteristics of each activity are also used: Project Management methodologies, EMAS Regulation, ISO 14064 and ISO 14046, Rain Forest Alliance, Crystal, U.S. Green Building Council or USGBC1 and Building Research Establishment or BRE1.

The Management Plan of each contract, concession, service or place includes the specific aspects of the quality and environmental management for the activity and location.

In management is particularly relevant:

  • the supervision of critical activities by specialized personnel,
  • the document management to ensure fast and secure access to documentation,
  • the adequate coordination with suppliers, equipment manufacturers and subcontractors
  • the objectives setting for improvement and
  • the communication with the client and other relevant stakeholders.

In the field of quality, the Plan emphasizes continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, exceeding its expectations through control, quality assurance, claims management and satisfaction assessment.

In the field of environmental management, the significant environmental aspects and the compliance obligations are the basis for operational control and monitoring. Likewise, the potential emergency situations are evaluated and the related contingency plans are made.
